I would rate the class content and materials very highly. The content was appropriate for the subject, and the examples provided were directly relevant to the activities I perform. Overall, this was a great experience that provided helpful resources to reinforce what I learned.

My overall experience was amazing. I was engaged and learned to both expand my thinking and filter my information to identify the specific problem I need to clearly communicate. The instructor was extremely helpful and kept the class engaged. As someone who has a shyer personality, being called on helped (and she did a wonderful job ensuring everyone was involved, so it wasn't targeted) because it forced me to speak and share my thoughts. Her insights were wonderful, and she clearly explained each exercise. She paused to ensure we didn't have any questions and helped guide our thoughts so we understood how to view a prompt we were tasked with. I would definitely take another course with her.

The instructor has a very likeable, calm demeanor and maintains a pace that ensures no one is left behind. While the progress was a bit slow at times for some participants, I understand that this approach helped make sure everyone could follow along and fully absorb the material. She did an excellent job encouraging class involvement and participation, and she truly listened to and valued everyone’s input and experiences. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop, especially the personalities and engagement of the class participants. My main goal was to determine if this course would be a good fit for my administrative staff and analysts, and I would definitely recommend it to them.

This Graduate School USA position management course was one of the best, most relevant, and needed classes for all HR Specialists, especially those working in position classification and position management. Even after 40 years of federal service, I learned some new concepts, strategies, and great material I will use in my daily work environment. Ms. Candace Samuels is a fantastic instructor!

I think this should be a mandatory course for every federal HR specialist because it's important in informing managers to ensure our work units/organizations are productive, efficient, and economical. Having an instructor who has experience with many different agencies and training with a diverse group of people always helps you be able to find different perspectives, options, and solutions for how to make our position management better.

I appreciate the assignments, the syllabus, and the handbook, in addition to the large amount of knowledge Ms. Petty has. She wasn't afraid to share, and I appreciate that.
