This beginner-friendly course teaches students how to build, extend, and deploy modern web applications using Claude Code. Through lectures, demonstrations, and lab-based practice, students learn how to work with AI-assisted coding tools while building core development knowledge across prompting, version control, web concepts, architecture, testing, design, security, and deployment.
Throughout the course, students work through a structured project sequence that begins with scaffolding a first application and continues through a business landing page, a full-stack notes app with authentication and database integration, API expansion, design refinement, security hardening, and launch. The result is a completed application that demonstrates practical development skills in a real-world workflow.
