This bootcamp introduces government workers to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including machine learning, deep learning, and large language models, with a focus on enhancing productivity, decision-making, and problem-solving. Participants will understand AI’s impact on efficiency and operations while addressing ethical, legal, and regulatory considerations. This four-hour, interactive training covers core AI concepts, data literacy, and prompt engineering, offering practical examples and hands-on activities for real-world applications in government.
In addition to the core courses, participants can choose from three specialized options: AI in project management, focusing on tasks like risk analysis and scheduling; AI for federal HR classifiers, streamlining position classification while ensuring compliance; or AI in auditing, enhancing fraud detection and efficiency while addressing ethical and regulatory concerns.

This course is designed to introduce government workers to the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This course provides foundational knowledge of AI technologies like machine learning, deep learning, and large language models, and understand how AI can be used to enhance productivity, decision-making, and problem-solving. Participants will gain a clear understanding of how AI can enhance efficiency, decision-making, and productivity while also addressing the ethical, legal, and regulatory aspects of AI use.
Unit 2 4 Hours
Through practical examples and hands-on activities, participants will learn core concepts, common terms, and best practices for working with AI tools and interpreting data. The course emphasizes real-world applications in the government context and provides actionable strategies to boost digital confidence, support informed decision-making, and foster a data-savvy culture across the workforce.
Unit 3 4 Hours
As AI tools become more common in government environments, knowing how to communicate clearly and responsibly with AI systems is an essential skill. This course equips participants with foundational prompt engineering techniques that help improve productivity, enhance clarity, and reduce risk when using AI to support government work.
Unit 4 1 Day
Receive a practical overview of how artificial intelligence can be utilized to positively impact project management success by demystifying artificial intelligence and providing practical steps for incorporating AI into project processes.
