Deming 2020: Today’s Federal Workforce Webcast Series

Deming 2020

ABOUT THE SERIES:

The federal landscape is constantly changing. The national health crisis that we are currently facing has brought greater changes and an even greater demand for innovative solutions by the federal workforce.

To help address these challenges, Graduate School USA (GSUSA) presents “Today’s Federal Workforce: Gleaning from the Past to Create Organizational Success,” a series of webcasts that uses our W. Edwards Deming Outstanding Training Award Program as a springboard for bridging current and future challenges with past successful Deming-winning solutions and the principles embodied by the Deming quality movement.

You will hear from one of the key leaders of The Deming Institute, as well as from the federal government agencies that have received the coveted Deming Award. Their winning projects are rooted in their unanimous ability to embrace a sincere desire to achieve their organizational objectives through a commitment to high-quality, while empowering all parts of their agencies.

These virtual events will provide the federal workforce with informative, trailblazing and inspirational solutions that illustrate the strength and power of adhering to high quality standards ― especially during times of national crisis.

About the W. Edwards Deming Outstanding Training Award

Graduate School USA presents the W. Edwards Deming Outstanding Training Award to a federal, state or local government organization that exemplifies excellence with an initiative or project that focuses on enhancing quality processes within that organization. Recipients of the Award have demonstrated innovative training through a workforce initiative that has measurably benefited their organization.

Deming Award winners are unique because they recognize that in order to succeed, an organization must embrace a sincere desire to achieve through a commitment to high-quality in all that they do. They also understand the importance of teamwork and the success that comes with empowering all parts of the organization. In lieu of award recipients, the 2020 Deming celebration will focus on the success stories of past winners.
