Description:
In this half-day, executive level course, you will explore employees' current expectations regarding a safe and respectful working environment; you will learn about the performance gains that accrue when a positive workplace culture exists. You will gain fundamental insight into barriers that disrupt efforts to create such a culture, including individual implicit bias that often results in micro-aggressions and can lead to harassment and bullying.
You will learn concrete actions you can take to work through such barriers, not only for yourself but for those you lead. You will identify the characteristics of a safe and respectful workplace culture and what leaders do to create it. You will engage with the course instructor and fellow participants in open forums and small group settings. Throughout the course, you will identify and apply practical leadership skills to foster inclusion and equity among a diverse workforce.
