Training Officers Consortium: Annual Institute Program

GSUSA is excited to exhibit and present at the 2024 Annual Institute Program.

Additionally, GSUSA Sr. Director of Learning Design, Heather Zink, will host a workshop on Monday, April 29, from 10:00 - 11:00am ET, entitled: “The Course Quality Matrix: A Blueprint for Assessing and Elevating Training Course Success”.

In this workshop, attendees will learn about a course quality matrix solution at Graduate School USA, that offers a systematic approach to assess the current state of training materials and identify areas for improvement. By the end of the session, participants will be empowered to proactively identify and address gaps in training materials with a practical tool and the knowledge to elevate the success of their training courses.

About the Presenter: With a passion for learning and human-centered approaches to innovation, Heather Zink serves as the Sr. Director of Learning Design at Graduate School USA. She manages a team of learning designers and curriculum experts to support the delivery of federal workforce training programs. With over 15 years' experience in edtech, instructional design, and online education, she recently completed an MS in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas and loves experimenting with AI tools.

During this two-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with school representatives and attend relevant professional presentations.

ASMC Professional Development Institute

GSUSA is excited to exhibit and “build the unity in the FM community” at the 2024 ASMC Professional Development Institute (PDI). Visit us at booth #119 to learn about how GSUSA supports the Financial Management community.

Additionally, GSUSA Professor Michael Binder, will host a mini-course on Creative and Critical Thinking for Auditors and Leaders on Thursday, May 30 from 2:00-3:15 p.m. for Part A and 3:45 – 5:00 p.m. for part B. This mini-course will explore why creative and critical thinking are essential tools of auditor providence that should be applied throughout all phases of the audit process.

AGA's Professional Development Training
