Since June 2012, WJLA-7 and News Channel 8 listeners have been getting reports on the business of government, in 60-second segments called “Federal Hot Minute.” Sponsored by Graduate School USA, the reports keep listeners up to date on the latest happenings that effect federal employees and contractors.

“Federal Hot Minute” is presented by Steve Vito, a partner in the government consulting firm UpsonVito, based in Reston, VA. Prior to forming UpsonVito, Steve was president of a division of Atlantic Media, Government Executive Media Group, which produced a magazine, two websites, a research group as well as live and web-based events. Steve’s background also includes being publisher of Federal Computer Week, and serving as VP of Strategic Partnerships for CACI.

The reports will continue through the end of December 2012.
