Graduate School USA is accepting applications for instructors to teach security-related daytime classroom-based courses. Teaching for the School enables subject matter experts in the areas of personnel security and industrial security to share their knowledge with highly motivated adult learners.
Most Graduate School USA daytime students are federal employees attending job-related courses during work hours at their employers’ expense. The School offers courses in oral communication and writing, leadership and supervision, and various federal-specific topics including acquisition, contracting, human resources, financial and project management, auditing, security, and grants management.
The majority of instructor openings are for individuals who reside in the Washington, DC area; there are a few opportunities for candidates who live outside DC. If you have proven subject matter expertise and instructional skills, we encourage you to apply.
Graduate School USA instructors make a valuable contribution to the federal workforce and its operations. Instructors (who are hired as part-time employees of the School) receive compensation for each course taught as well as travel expenses when teaching courses conducted outside their commuting areas.
We encourage all interested candidates to submit an application and resume.
