The Graduate School's Center for Leadership and Management is pleased to offer a lifelong system of learning for leaders interested in the creation of high-performing learning organizations.
Unlike other training programs, this system of learning strives to support leaders throughout their careers. In addition to the courses offered, the program offers access to ongoing publications and coaching support for leaders and human resources practitioners.
Organizational Learning Consulting Services After participating in our courses, or as an alternative to formal courses, you may discover that you want the help of expert organizational learning consultants in bringing the concepts and principles of organizational learning and systems to your work. The Graduate School provides consultation, facilitation and organizational development services. These services are available to leaders who want to introduce the organizational learning tools and methods by applying them to their workplace challenges.
Publications Participants in the organizational learning curriculum have free access to the 10 yearly issues of The Systems Thinker, a newsletter which presents the tools and perspectives of systems thinking through case studies, practical exercises and commentary. They also receive Leverage Points, a free monthly e-newsletter that spotlights systems thinking and innovations in leadership, management and organizational development. The Systems Thinker and Leverage Points are publications of Pegasus Communications (www.pegasuscom.com).
Public Sector Consortium Participants interested in the "community of practice" concept may attend a free monthly learning session. Both leaders and practicioners share their experiences in the workplace as they introduce and practice organizational learning disciplines. A community of practice aligns with government leaders in reshaping their organizations and improving public sector performance. View more information on the Public Sector Consortium (PDF file).
